Domino Sugar Factory
View 360 subcontracted with leading New York City real estate developer Two Trees to stabilize the interior side of the existing brick shell during interior demolition of the long abandoned 138-year-old Domino Sugar Factory, situated along Brooklyn’s Williamsburg waterfront. Development continues at this mega project which features ultra modern structures with residential, commercial and retail space erected inside the restored brick walls of the factory.
In addition to crumbling brick and mortar at the Domino Sugar Factory, the building’s corners were cracked and separating. View 360 installed a Cintec™ anchor system to stabilize the masonry.
View 360 also built and landscaped the Domino Water Park.
Betances Housing Complex
Subcontracted with MDG Design + Construction on this project for the New York City Housing Authority. View 360 completed the exterior restoration of 11 buildings in the Betances Housing Complex, which stretches from 136th to 145th Streets in the Bronx. MDG is one of New York City’s leaders in the renovation of occupied housing. This major renovation project was part of the New York City Housing Authority’s (NYCHA) public private partnership which was later transitioned to RAD, the federal Rental Assistance Demonstration Program.
The Beacon Apartments
Jersey City, NJ
This 1.5 million square foot apartment complex renovation represents the largest residential redevelopment in the history of New Jersey and the largest concentration of art deco buildings in the state. View 360 contracted with Building and Land Technology (BLT) of Stamford, CT to complete exterior masonry restoration on four the 11 existing buildings and maintenance on seven structures. The existing buildings, formerly the Jersey City Medical Center and dating back to the 1880s, are listed in the New Jersey Register of Historic Places and National Register of Historic Places. All renovation had to be performed under the Secretary of Interior's Guidelines for Historic Rehabilitation.
East Harlem Tutorial Program
A new, ground up structure. View 360 was hired to do the brick, block, decorative block, cast stone and granite work, as well as the air and moisture barrier.
Fort Schuyler House
View 360 subcontracted with MGD Design + Construction as part of a $17 million capital repairs project of Fort Schuyler House. View 360 was hired for exterior restoration that included balcony repairs, balcony post repair, and removal and replacement of all spalled concrete throughout the structure, a 138 unit midrise senior living apartment building located in the beautiful and vibrant Throgs Neck neighborhood in the Bronx. The complex, originally constructed in 1973, is in view of Long Island Sound and City Island, the Throgs Neck and Whitestone Bridges, and the New York City Skyline.
Staten Island, NY
View 360 Construction has contracted with Broadway Builders to perform the new brick and block ground up masonry on Castleton Housing, a new 41,000 square-foot, mixed use complex in the Port Richmond neighborhood of Staten Island. It is the largest new development in the area for 2020. The six-story building will house 48 apartments and ground floor community facilities. Hudson Companies is listed as the owner; Long Island City based Amie Gross Architects, known for community developments, is the architect of record. The complex is a joint venture with Project Hospitality, a Staten Island non-profit and is scheduled to open in 2021.
